It means ‘some’.

Example
I have been there a few times. It is very good.
(He goes there some times and he feels it is very good.)



2. Few
We use ‘few’ with countable nouns and the noun must be plural. 
The word ‘few’ have negative meanings and it means ‘almost zero’ or ‘hardly any’.

Example
It upset me that few people had come to the party.
(Nearly no people had come to the party and it upset him.)



3. A little
We use ‘a little’ with uncountable nouns.
It means ‘some’.

Example
Don’t worry, Sarah! I have still got a little time to complete the job.
(He still has some time to do and complete the job.)



4. Little
We use ‘little’ with uncountable nouns.
The word ‘little’ have negative meanings and it means ‘almost zero’ or ‘hardly any’.

Example
Sarah drinks only little water for a day.

(Sarah drinks hardly any water for a day.)
